When a Man is Poisoned It Is Said Like That
A Reverse Speech Investigation of the Death of His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Prabhupada

Chapter Eight: Conclusion – The Challenge of Truth

Gold From a Filthy Place

It is difficult to imagine that any possible good can come from the news discovered herein. I have pondered this question for the better part of 1998 and have somehow found some shimmering lining to this dark cloud. There is a lesson here for all of us, and for all posterity. What is it? That we must stand firmly connected to our understanding of the truth even in the face of the most difficult circumstances. We have been weighted down with emotional anchors for many years which have prevented us from understanding or acting on the truth, and we have been confused by mental conceptions of what we think should be rather than hearing and acting on the truth we find in our heart. Because of that we have watched thousands of Srila Prabhupada's disciples give up on his Mission and return to a life which they left to serve him. These emotional anchors and mental misconceptions have prevented us from rooting out the ill motivated, misdirected mis-leadership who had long ago lost connection with Srila Prabhupada and his true mission.

Had we the will and the Krishna Consciousness we would have taken these steps long ago directed from within by Prabhupada himself and the Supersoul. If there is one lesson to be learned then it is that we must reject any leadership from those who participated in Srila Prabhupada's poisoning, and root them from the institution which he began for the benefit of the world. And if it somehow proves to be impossible, then the honest devotees should reject that (mis)leadership en masse, and begin Prabhupada's work anew. Krishna is no poor man, Prabhupada taught us. He always provides everything needed to do His work, and He will always continue as necessary and according to our desire.

Looking to the Future

It is my hope that this investigation and the remarkable tool of Reverse Speech will have a great impact on the future of ISKCON. Simply said, the pretenders, the cheats, the child molesters, the homosexuals, and the like can no longer hide in the guise of "his holiness" or behind the cloak of saffron and "renunciation." The Lord by his inconceivable potency has arranged that as this wretched age of Kali progresses that the innocent will have the means to protect themselves from the unscrupulous.

What if we had had the opportunity to hear this reversal from Satadhanya about Bhavananda in 1977 when he spoke it: Satadhanya: He sucks everybody. . . why does he do that? Imagine. . . . it’s nasty.1 Years later, after wreaking great havoc in the Society, it was revealed that Bhavananda, one of the original "pure devotees," was a promiscuous homosexual. What if that truth had been available in July 1977?  Does it matter? What standard are we going to hold each other to? That depends, I suppose, on whether we are advertised as a Pure Devotee or not, and whether we are a pure devotee, or not. Whatever we are will be revealed. The mind is no longer a private place.

There will be devotees who will want look at everyone with the tool of Reverse Speech, and especially investigating those who have tape ministries. Yet, there are undoubtedly many who will decry all of this Reverse Speech activity as pure maya, just more illusions of an envious mind to hear what it wants to hear. Of course they will say that, what else can a naked emperor do but decry the person who points out his folly? Expect to see the usual ad homonym arguments also, because if they can't defeat the method perhaps the investigator can be discredited. Nonetheless, the innocent will have the opportunity to check out their prospective guru to see if he really is a great soul like Srila Prabhupada (Prabhupada: I am very saintly man) or if he is something else (Bhakti Caru: I been really corrupt).  But the more reasonable leaders and gurus may just want to change their profile and clean up their act, and simply be honest with themselves and everyone else. The playing field has been leveled.

The Challenge of Truthfulness

Will honesty finally find a place in our dealings with each other, and in the manner in which we present ourselves and find our place in the larger scheme of things? It must. At least for the honest people it will. And they can gather together and live and work for spreading Krishna Consciousness without being distracted by bogus gurus, who want to be worshiped as gods, and their false agendas. The cheaters and the cheated, will deny the validity of this report and Reverse Speech, and continue a charade of no purpose other than to satisfy their false ego, the worst enemy of their own selves and everyone who blindly follows them. The honest will live free, because the truth will set them free.

Where there is nescience there is darkness. Where there is Godhead there is Light. Brothers and sisters, the light has come in. Please don’t stand in the dark any longer.
